That’s because it has an interactive bonus feature “Kill the Bandit’s Boss” embedded within the normal spin mode. That is not traditional by the strict terms of the word. It is named “Slot Machine” because you can see the machine standing in a casino. But lets not get caught up too much in terminology. Wild West is a crossover. It was designed when interactive slots were just “becoming”. The reels are small and the graphics are understated. If you have seen a few of the newer NetEnt games releases, you know they are now very focused on larger reels and graphic design. It is a good game to just turn on the reels and turn off your mind. Sit back with the boys and down some whiskey at the bar.

What you might find interesting is that a bonus game is activated but the 3 pistols are not from left to right. They are scatted on the active betline. So this makes it a bit easier to enter the bonus game mode. You can see the 3 pistols on the above image to the right. Just give her a click to enlarge.  But don’t think it is easy to find out which cowboy is the boss. The boss changes from spin to spin. So it’s not like the same guy on the far left is going to be the boss next bonus game. In fact, while I was mounting this review I hit bonus rounds more than 10 times and never once chose the Boss. It made me wonder…. But they say that when you do catch up with him. You find out where the hideout is with all the ill gained loot. I really do need to get back there and get that darn boss.
